BeephoniX, founded in 2022 as a spin-off from Radboud University’s Biophysics Department, leverages over 20 years of research in signal processing. As a young technology company, we specialize in developing advanced hardware and software for acoustics, speech, and hearing, with a focus on our patented dynamic microphone technology inspired by the unique movement of a bee’s ears. Together with our partner Absolute Audio Labs, we are developing a hearing aid designed for the hearing impaired to solve the cocktail party problem. Additionally, we collaborate with the defense and maritime industries, working with partners like Nucleus Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems and the Netherlands Aerospace Center to create an acoustic drone detector for protecting sensitive targets from hostile drones.
